We kindly inform you that the Ministry of Public Finance issued a press release, on October 4th 2020, announcing that it has drafted an emergency ordinance which governs the schedule for payment, in a simplified form, of unpaid budgetary obligations due to COVID-19 crisis.
According to the press release, the facility is granted for a period of 12 months, for the budgetary obligations accrued from the date of entry into the state of emergency (March 16th), under the condition that the debtors have not registered outstanding tax obligations prior the state of emergency.
Also, the press release mentions that the schedule for payment will be granted within 5 days, based on an application to which the schedule proposal is attached, without guarantees. The application may be submitted until December 15th, inclusive, for all budgetary obligations accrued from March 16th until the date of submission of the request.
